I love setting aside quiet time in the morning, whether it be through yoga, meditation, or an early morning dish-wash session to reflect on what it is I'm grateful for (there's always something to be grateful for).
This morning I'm grateful for an extra day off with my husband to get some housework done. I'm also grateful for my cats that wake me up early to feed them so I'm out of bed with extra quiet time to myself each morning.
I will follow that with setting some simple positive goals and intentions for my day.
Today I intend to be the best version of myself I can be. I intend to be calm and filled with peace. I intend to give off a gentle, positive energy to all those I come into contact with today. I also intend to be productive, as I get some much needed housework done.
